Insurance policyholders association (hereinafter – IPA or Asociacion) is non-profit, non-governmental organization which represents the interests of the insurance policyholders in Lithuania. Asociation was established in 2014 mainly by qualified and experienced lawyers with many years of legal work experience in the field of insurance. The current range of activities of the Association are:
– implementation of projects related to the education of consumers on insurance matters;
– evaluation and coordination of legislation relating to the insurance relations;
– policyholders counseling and representation in the relations with insurance companies.
IPA in the future plans to carry out the following activities:
Insurance companies rule compliance with legislation assessment.
